Record to DVR

OVERVIEW

Setting a TV show or movie to record to your DVR is an easy two step process. First you select your Pay TV provider and then you set the TV show/movie to be recorded.  We support DVRs from DirecTV and DISH with additional providers to be added in the near future.

Here’s how to do it:

STEP ONE: SELECTING YOUR PAY TV PROVIDER

To do this, you need to register with HereIsTV.

The first thing that you will need to do is get to our Log In/Register page.

To do that, from any page on the website, click on the Log In/Register link in the persistent navigation underneath our logo, as shown in the picture below.

Once on our Log In/Register page you can register with HereIsTV on the right side, as shown below (once you register you can come back to this page and log-in on the left side).

As you can see in the picture below, to register we ask that you provide your first and last name, email address (which is also your user name), create a password, select your Pay TV provider, and tell us your zip code. Only your email, password and Pay TV provider are required (though we’d appreciate the other info). After you have entered the necessary information, click on the Register button at the bottom of the page.

Once you have registered, you will be taken back to the page that had the TV show/movie that you were interested in recording but now the button is branded with the name of your Pay TV provider.  Below is how the button looks for DISH, there is a similar button for DirecTV.

STEP TWO – RECORDING THE SHOW/MOVIE

The record to DVR button is now branded with the name of your Pay TV provider. To set your DVR to record the TV show/movie, simply click on the Record to DVR button associated with the TV show/movie that you wish to record.  What happens next depends upon your Pay TV provider, click the appropriate link below for further information.
