The series premiere of Immortalized is on AMC at 10:00. This show is about the (and we’ll let the network speak for itself here) “captivating and provocative world of creative and competitive taxidermy.” Taxidermy, in case you don’t want to visit Wikipedia, is how you get stuffed animals, the real ones, not the ones you buy at Toys R Us. In this competition show “immortalizers” (formerly known as taxidermists) compete against one another. The critics are mixed on this one though one calls it “strange,” which seems reasonably accurate, the reviews are here. The premiere episode is below.Daily Pick
